We For Civil Equality (WFCE) NGO launched its activities in 2003 as an initiative group and was officially registered in July 2006, becoming the first Sexual and Gender minorities group targeted organization in the Caucasus. WFCE is a non-profit, non-governmental, community-based organization. Throughout the seven years of its activities, WFCE overcame a range of difficulties and obstacles, being able to implement successfully a number of strategically important programs. WFCE is currently working in five directions:
1.  STI/HIV/AIDS   prevention   among   MSM/WSW/MSMW/WSWM/transgender   (FtM,  
MtF) communities; 
2.  Capacity building and empowerment of minority groups; 
3.  Gender equality, lobby and advocacy; 
4.  Social and psychological assistance and support to minority groups; 
5.  Raising  public  awareness  on  minority issues
WFCE is actively cooperating with government institutions, civil society and mass media  at national, regional and international levels.
